Getting Started

Install Spoke Class and record your first lecture.

Installation

Download Spoke Class from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Requires iOS 16+ or Android 8+.

Sign In

Open the app and sign in with your SpokeDo account. Starter credits are included for new accounts.

Create a Course

1. Go to the Courses tab
2. Tap New Course
3. Give the course a name (e.g. "CS101 — Intro to Algorithms")

Create Extraction Intents

Intents define what AI should extract from your recordings:

1. Go to the Intents tab
2. Tap New Intent
3. Write a prompt describing what to extract (e.g. "List all key definitions and their explanations")
4. Link the intent to one or more courses

Your First Recording

1. Select a course or start a new recording
2. Set the source language (the language being spoken)
3. Optionally enable translation and choose a target language
4. Tap Record — transcription appears in real-time
5. Tap Stop when the lecture ends

After recording, the app uploads and processes the audio in the background. You can track progress on the recordings screen.

Supported Languages

Source languages (transcription): English, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, Dutch, Hindi

Target languages (translation): Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, French, German
