Getting Started

Install Spoke Translator and start translating conversations in real-time.

Installation

Download Spoke Translator from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Requires iOS 16+ or Android 8+.

Sign In

Sign in with your SpokeDo account. Starter credits are included.

Your First Translation

1. Open the Translate tab
2. Select the source language (the language being spoken), or choose Auto-Detect
3. Select the target language (the language you want to see)
4. Tap Record — transcription and translation stream in real-time
5. Use the swap button to quickly reverse languages between turns

Recording starts automatically when the screen appears for the fastest experience.

Smart Replies

After enough conversation context has been collected:

1. Toggle Smart Replies on
2. AI-generated response suggestions appear in the source language
3. Suggestions are personalized using your profile (name, nickname)
4. Tap a suggestion to copy or use it

Language Preferences

Your language selections are saved and restored automatically between sessions.

Session Recovery

If the app is interrupted during recording:

• The session is automatically checkpointed to local storage
• On reopening, you can resume the interrupted session
• Recording data, transcript, and translation are all recovered
